Company History

Founded and established in 2016, KeYe Life originally developed from a small research team in Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen. Through the joint program between University of Macau and SUSTech, high throughput screening was performed on a small molecule library in order to find potential hits, which could inhibit RNA helicase activity. The company further established its own experimental base in Longhua District, Shenzhen in February, 2020. Starting from May, 2020, chemical synthesis of small molecules were systematically carried out in the new experimental base. Hundreds of derivative compounds were synthesized for drug optimization. The small molecules were further developed for preclinical studies. In September 2022, the company relocated to Pingshan District, Shenzhen and expanded its experimental base.
